Key Learning Outcomes
Learners will:
- Understand how self‑esteem and early experiences influence personal confidence, including identifying strengths that support motivation
- Explore how being out of education or work affects wellbeing and motivation, including obstacles and strategies to overcome them
- Understand how thoughts and beliefs influence feelings, behaviour and outcomes, including identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and practising reframing
- Strengthen emotional awareness by exploring how emotions develop, recognising signs of anger and learning techniques for managing emotions
- Develop communication skills that support confidence, relationships and progression, including overcoming barriers to communication
- Identify personal skills, qualities and next steps for progression, including actions that support movement toward education, training or work
